Brand-new hotel in a pretty nice area near to a pizza chain restaurant, the mall, restaurants, fastfood, and drug store. The staff - polite and welcoming. Great location within walking distance of Smartcentres Courtenay. Decent experience there.

The pool is great, the location is good and it's next to a mall, the building is new, and the rooms come with a kitchenette, making it very convenient and pleasant.

I recently stayed at Travelodge in Courtenay for a shopping trip with friends. The room was clean and well-maintained, with 2 comfortable double beds. The location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping malls. The sliding windows had screens, allowing for fresh air, and the parking right next to the door was convenient. The little coffee maker with delicious fair trade coffee was a nice touch. The staff, particularly at reception, were friendly and helpful, even providing me with ice late at night for an allergic reaction. Maid service was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Plus, the air conditioning was great!
